The Procussions new single, “The Fringe,” has an old-school bravado that any true hip-hop head can spot and will surely eat up: It’s no frills, just straight rhyming! The track’s slick, party-enthused hook and gritty percussions makes it all the more solid.
Mr. J Medeiros and Stro Elliot of The Procussions, better known for their fusion of jazz and hip-hop, will release their self-titled LP, due out in May. The forthcoming release comes nearly seven years after their last album, Five Sparrows for 2 Cents.
